Bush Pepper - Fruit Plant
What You Will Receive
● Plant Type: Live Bush Pepper Plant (Piper nigrum)
● Come in: Cover / Pot
● Medium: Coco Peat / Soil
Plant Overview
The Bush Pepper Plant is a unique and highly innovative form of the traditional black pepper vine, specifically developed to grow as a compact, self-supporting shrub rather than a climbing creeper. Propagated from lateral fruiting branches, this plant eliminates the need for tall trellises or support poles. It features beautiful, glossy, heart-shaped dark green leaves and starts producing cascading spikes of green pepper berries almost immediately—even when grown in a container. Ideal for sunny balconies, kitchen gardens, terraces, and small urban spaces, it provides a fresh, continuous supply of premium home-grown black gold spices with maximum convenience.
Growing Requirements
● Sunlight: Filtered sunlight or partial shade (requires around 3–4 hours of morning sun; protect from harsh afternoon heat)
● Watering: Moderate; water thoroughly when the top layer of soil feels dry, keeping the medium consistently damp but well-drained
● Soil: Loose, highly porous, nutrient-rich soil mix with excellent organic drainage
● Fertilizing: Feed with balanced organic compost, vermicompost, or a light liquid fertilizer every 3–4 weeks during active growth
● Placement: Perfect for kitchen windowsills, semi-shaded balconies, patios, and compact container gardens
Bring home a Bush Pepper Plant and enjoy its unique shrub growth habit, ornamental spice spikes, and fresh harvest potential that turn even the smallest patio or balcony space into a thriving spice garden.
